Hi folks,
we are using the latest version of SQL Monitor 4. The tool is working flawlessy so far, with one ugly exception. If a monitored system is going down for maintenance, or even on unscheduled reboot / crash, the SQL Monitor 4 doesn't reconnect to the SQL Server (db and os). The monitor will only reconnect when entering the completed credentails again. This is realy disturbing when somebody thinks that the production system isn't up and running again, especially in the middle of the night. ;-)
Has anyone encountered the same problem?
Best regards,
Gordon

As of SQL Monitor 4.1.1 you can configure SQL Monitor to automatically reconnect by making a configuration file change.
Please give that a try and let me know if it works for you!
Kind regards,
Alex
