Licensing Problem w/ Data Compare Command Line Utility v5.2

Our organization has one SQL Bundle and one SQL Bundle Pro License. I use the Pro License. I have installed Bundle v 5.2 and can use all the tools interactively.
When I attempt to use the Data Compare Command Line Utility I get a pop-up asking me to re-activate my license. I supply my license; register over the internet; get a success message returned; but the original pop-up never activates the "okay" button. Consequently I must "x" out or click cancel and then I am back where I started.
Please help.

Apparently, if you don't have a professional edition licence which is needed to activate the command line, you will get a 'successful activation', even though it wasn't.
