    Hello,

You may want to deploy some registry entries with your installation. In particular HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\SQL Backup\InstalledInstances\<Instance name>

    and

    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Red Gate\SQL Backup\BackupSettingsGlobal\<Instance Name>

...where <Instance Name> is the name of your SQL Server instance, whick will be (local) for the default instance.
  • sorry,

when I say "config" I think to the config of sqlbackup (option button) with "backup location", "email", "log files" ...

As Brian mentioned, those entries are in the

    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Red Gate\SQL Backup\BackupSettingsGlobal\<Instance Name>

    registry key.

  • Yes, it's ok.

there were anything because it was default values.. but when custom options.. entries were registered in regedit ;)

True... you need to set the SQL Backup installation up the way you like before you'll even see all of the possible registry keys.
