Application crashes even when all options have been disabled

I've tried to use SA 6.8 to obfuscate our applications but they always crash without an error report. They even crash when all options in the project settings are disabled (i.e. no obfuscation)
- Self diagnostic for trouble shooting has been enabled
- WPF resources have been merged
The applications display the login window, followed by a splash screen but then don't start up. How can I figure out why they are crashing?
I'm seeing the following message in the event viewer:
Error retrieving workspace from service provider. The error was: An attempt was made to load a program with an incorrect format. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x8007000B)

I believe we have an open support ticket for you (#14000). If you can kindly send us your application files to troubleshoot this locally, that should give us a better idea of what's going wrong!
