How long will redgate freeze IO for full backups

We have full backups scheduled in redgate to run nightly at 12 am. Then we have backups of the servers running at 4am but they are getting an error that the files IO are still frozen. Is there a setting for this?


I just recieved the following info on the backups at 4am



This server is being backed up with BESR. It is grabbing everything on the C:\ and E:\.

    I/O frozen is usually indicative of a Windows Volume Snapshot Service (VSS) backup. If you don't specifically exclude your database files (*.mdf, *.ldf) from your nightly file backup, it will attempt to perform a VSS full backup and that can interfere with your backup schedule in SQL Backup.
