I have a cluster with 2 nodes and with 1 active SQL server.

Your standard installation = installing SQL backup on each server = 2 licenses SQL backup for only 1 active SQL instance.

Is it possible to install SQL backup as ressource in the cluster in a virtual drive.

By shutdown from 1 node, sql backup should moving (with the SQL server) to the other node.

Standard dir for logs is c:\document Settings\all users\application....
Is it possible to change this default dir to a another dir (ex H:\ drive defined as ressource in the cluster)

I'm not 100% sure that this will work but I can tell you that you can move the logging location by setting the ALLUSERSPROFILE environment variable for the user who runs the SQL Server and the SQL Agent.

This is going to affect the whole system, though, so I'm not sure it's such a great idea.
