Error 760: LSN data from server is blank.

  Do you happen to run multiple backup jobs at the same time?

  I have gotten the same error a couple of times as well. There is only 1 backup job running at a given time.

  I also have the same error. There are no other backup jobs running against the database which gives the error, however there are other backup jobs running against other databases.....funny thing is I also get two ERROR emails?????? Again only happens ~once a day for a job which runs every 10 minutes.....was thinking it could be because of an empty log, it nothings changed, but have verified this is NOT the case.....

  I wanted to report that this patch cleared all errors that I had been receiving during the day for highly-loaded servers; I rolled this patch out to the busy servers yesterday, and haven't gotten a single failure since.
