When I open the Backup Gui I get an Access violation.
Access violation at address 7DCAB05 in module 'USP10.dll'. Read of address 01204000
Everthing seems to work fine after that but it would be nice to know why this is happening and stop it.

Do you encounter this everytime you open the Backup Wizard, or just once-off? Does this happen on the first page (creating a new task / selecting a saved task) or on another page?

    Thanks.

  • It doesn't happen all the time but has hapened on two different servers. It occured imediately upon opening the SQL Backup app. Essentially as the first screen appears.

That sounds like a problem with the grid displaying the activity history then. If we can reproduce the error consistently, we'll have it fixed. Are both servers multiprocessor machines?
