Changing comparison key throws away "Columns in Comparison"

I've noticed that when I change a custom comparison key, the "Columns in Comparison" always get reset to the default, which is apparently "Compare all."
Could this be fixed to not behave this way? I.e., changing the comparison key should not, in my mind, change what I have previously checked for "Columns in Comparison."
thanks.
BTW, I'm experiencing this behavior with v7.1.0.245

Thanks for raising this issue. We've already got this logged in our bug database (for your reference this is issue SDC-843) and it is a candidate to be fixed for the next major release of SQL Data Compare (v8.0).
