Feature Request - ODBC Driver for SQL Backup

One of Reg Gate's competitors has a cool feature where they have provided a ODBC driver for their backup files. A similar feature would enhance SQL Backup by making any of the following possible:
1) Browse any table held in a backup file using T-SQL.
2) Allow the customer to compare the data in a backup file against either another backup file or the live database.
3) Allow the customer to copy data from the backup file to the live database using T-SQL.
