suggestion: add delay property to pop up hints

This is actually beginning to annoy me now to the extent I have switched it off.

You move the cursor around and get a 'piranha swarm' of tips flying about the place.

Try clicking on some whitespace to type something in, and lo and behold, like a german with a beach towel, the tooltip will have got there before you.

It's a good feature, it just needs tuning.

Or... why not have a separate window (like in Visio properties) that shows the same information dynamically.
