Transaction Log Backup Job not automatically adding new DBs

Hello, all.

Using SQL Backup 5.2, a Transaction Log backup that is set to do a transaction log backup and "Include These" and "User" checked off.

However, when a new database is created, one that is eligible for transaction log backups, does not get automcatically added to the Transaction Log backup job.

Interestingly, new databases *do* get automatically added to the Full Database Backup job configured in a similar way.

Is there some setting I'm missing to get the transaction log backup job to automatically include newly added databases?

Thanks, in advance, for everyone's help!

    Hi

Please check your database properties->Options->Recovery model and ensure that the recovery model is set to Full.

If the recovery model is set to Simple, modify the Recovery model to use the Full setting. Next perform a Full backup of the database so that the change to the recovery model take effect.

You should then be able to perform transaction log backups against the database.

    Many Thanks
    Eddie
