SQL Data Compare Project File Location

We are using SQL Compare and SQL Data Compare. SQL Compare supports defining the location of its project files.
However, SQL Data Compare does not have any obvious way to relocate the project files. There seems to be no way to relocate them from C:\Documents and Settings\MyUserAccount\Local Settings\Application Data\Red Gate\SQL Data Compare 5
We would like to keep our data compare project files in a common location. That way any project member could be assigned to run a data compare and could use the centrally managed project definition.
Is there a way to relocate the SQL Data Compare project files?
If there is no good way, do you have a suggested workaround? (Yes, we know that we can copy files all over the place, but we hope for something better.)

I don't know if this is of any help to you, but the next version of SQL Data Compare (v6), due out later this year, will allow you to specify a project folder. This could presumably be a file share, allowing your SQL Data Compare projects to be 'pooled'.
There is a public Alpha release due shortly, which should allow you to try this feature out.
