When zooming with the mouse wheel on my primary monitor (I'm using dual display) the layout is zoomed in or out.

when I move the SQL Dependency Tracker to my secondary monitor (at left of the primary) the wheel mouse zoom is no longer working

    Hi

Thank you for your post into the forum.

Unfortunately I am unable to reproduce your fault symptoms.

I also have dual displays (SyncMaster 205BW and SyncMaster 913N), I can successfully wheel mouse zoom in and out of the diagram on both displays.

I have SQL Dependency Tracker V2.1 installed on my Windows XP machine.

What OS and version of SQL Dependency Tracker are you using?

    Many Thanks
    Eddie

I'm using SQL Dependency Tracker 2.2 on Windows XP SP2

I have a 20" monitor (1600x1200) 4:3 primary monitor at position 0x0 (wheel mouse work on it)
    my second monitor si a 19" (1440x900) 16:10 (wide) at position -1440x0
    (wheel mouse don't work)

I'm using a Microsoft Mouse without Microsoft IntelliPoint drivers (default drviers).

Unfortunately I unable to reproduce the reported problem.

Discussing your issue with one of my colleagues, he is using SQL Dependency Tracker 2.2 on Windows XP SP2 workstation and he is unable to reproduce the reported issue.

I suspect that SQL Dependency Tracker is not the problem here.

Are you running any dual display management application or drivers?

    Many Thanks
    Eddie

Sorry for the delay in replying back to you.

This may be an odd question to ask, do you have other Red Gate applications available for use, such as SQL Compare or SQL Data Compare?

If the answer is yes, do you receive similar fault symptoms when using the mouse wheel on your secondary monitor?

    Many Thanks

A ghost from the past speaking here,

using Dependecy Tracker only on my secondary screen, I wondered why they didn't think of mouse wheel zoom  ;‑]

To continue your research effort: I have Compare and Data Compare available. Do they have a mousewheel zoom feature?

    Thank you!

    P.S.: Intel HD 5500, Windows 10

    Hi,

This is very much still a thing. Is this going to be looked at or is this an accepted problem?

Thank goodness for this post, otherwise I would have been at a complete loss as to why it stopped working on my other monitor...

Issue persists on closing/re-opening the application.
