SQL Prompt is so slow when I have 255 snippets

in SQL Prompt
I'm using SQL Prompt Version 10.12.1.28146 with SSMS v18.12.1, and I have 255 snippets. When I disabled SQL Prompt suggestion, I can type freely in SSMS and it's very smoothly. But when I enabled SQL Prompt (with 255 snippets), I can hardly type characters in SSMS. It delays about 1s for each typed character. How can I solve this issue? Does SQL Prompt scan again all my snippets whenever I type a character?

    Thank you for your inquiry into SQL Prompt, we are sorry to hear it is giving you trouble.

    Would you be able to upgrade to SQL Prompt 10.12.3? There have been some SSMS performance fixes that targeted snippets that may help with the slowness/lag.
