Today I already made a lot of comparisons and the issue did not appear. I work on the same databases, and I can't say what is different compared to yesterday when I was not able to select the WHERE clause. Thank you!
Hi .. I have the same issue .. using SQL Data Compare, I need to cop a very large SQL table from one SQL svr to another.. but the [where clause] is greyed out?

What version of SQL Data Compare are you using?
When the WHERE clause is inactive, is it grey out or in a blue colour available for use?
The data sources that you are comparing, are you comparing two live databases or a scripts folder to a database or a backup file to a database?
