feature request: normalize column into lookup table...

Using refactor for the first time and using the split-table tool, realized that we would love to have a similar tool: one that would split a column into a lookup table. We are reorganizing an exiting database and find this a very repetitive task; create lookup table and new join field in original table, select distinct into join table, update join field in original table where column values are equal and then drop column in original table.

It would be a great tool to have, if it isn't being done somewhere else.
