Just installed SQL Prompt 3.1 and rebooted.

Please supply a fix to re-enable SQL Refactor in VSMS - ASAP

Thanks.

    Hi there,

Sorry about the problem you are experiencing. Can you try closing SSMS, and then running
    sqlwb /setup

from the command line? This should rejig SSMS and hopefully sort out SQL Refactor's menus.

If this doesn't work can I enquire whether you have patched SSMS with SQL2005 SP2 yet? And if so which version of SQL Refactor you have running?

    Many thanks,

    Jonathan

    Hi Jonathan,

The command line exec did nothing at all. I located sqlwb, exe in C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\90\Tools\Binn\VSShell\Common7\IDE. Having cd'd to that location, still nothing on execution of your suggested command.

The latest .zip download I have of SQLPrompt Bundle is dated January 23rd, 2007 at 11:01 PST, with sqlrefactorsetup.exe dated 10/30/2006 12:05:40 PM.

    I HAVE patched with 2K5 SP2 - up to cumulative hotfix build 3152 http://support.microsoft.com/kb/933097

    Here's the info from SSMS:
Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio 9.00.3042.00
Microsoft Analysis Services Client Tools 2005.090.3042.00
Microsoft Data Access Components (MDAC) 2000.085.1117.00 (xpsp_sp2_rtm.040803-2158)
    Microsoft MSXML 2.6 3.0 4.0 5.0 6.0
    Microsoft Internet Explorer 7.0.5730.11
    Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0.50727.42
    Operating System 5.1.2600

    Hi,

Okay I believe you are probably suffering from the SP2 issue that we are in the process of releasing a fix for at the moment. I will PM you with the details of the SQL Refactor beta 1.1, this will hopefully resolve your problem. We should have the official SQL Refactor 1.1 release out by the end of next week (fingers crossed).

    Regards,
