in SQL Compare
Hello
What is the expected output inside the ScriptFile provided path when there are no differences between the source and the target? Do we still get an empty file or something that gets created in the provided path or should I expect the file to be not created at all?
Thanks
Shravan

You ask a good question and it is a scenario I have never tested.
I assume that you are using the command line for your comparison and subsequent deploy.
Depending on the syntax you are using, I suspect that you would encounter exit code 63 which is generated when the data sources being compared are identical meaning that no ScriptFile is created or overwritten.
Many Thanks
