Deadlock (Extended Events) not working

Hi, i have been using the Deadlocks (Extended Events) alert for over a year and some time last week shortly after upgrading to 9.0.3.20042 SQL Monitor is no longer logging these events, i can see in the SQL Logs that deadlocks are happening. And if i turn extended event off in the configuration it reports the deadlocks.

Can you send support the log files and the XE information from SQL Server please?

Out of interest, what version of SQL is it that Monitor is not reporting XE deadlocks for?

2008 R2 SP3.

Do you have any
"Using 'dbghelp.dll' version 'x.x.x'" errors in your SQL Log?

there was one a couple days ago version 4.0.5.

I think you've hit a bug in SQL Server: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/2878139/fix-using-dbghelp-dll-version-4-0-5-error-is-logged-in-sql-server-2012. Unfortunately, this doesn't appear to have been fixed for SQL 2008, just 2012.

Unfortunately we have no workaround/fix for this and can only really advise contacting Microsoft.
