  • Hi,

The command line interface provides access to the functionality provided by SQL Compare, SQL Data Compare, and SQL Packager. The Command Line Interface Help is found in Start/All Programs/Red Gate SQL Bundle 5/The Command Line Interface

Let me know if you need further assistance.

  • thanks a lot. I was able to create jobs in a batch file. However, I plan to distribute it to end users. is it possible to remotely execute these files from computers with no redgate installed on the local client machines. Currently, I can execute these batch files only inside the red gate folder under program files.

    Thanks,
    Chuck

    Hi Chuck,

It is possible to distribute the command-line app without licence restrictions, provided you have activated it on your desktop already.

In the command-line help file, find the topic Integrating Command Line Tools With Applications. The instructions are there.
