Typical Sync Performance with Git?

My source control seems to be operating very slowly (multiple minutes depending on the server). How long does it typically take the rest of you do a pull and/or sync changes?

The time varies greatly based on a number of factors like the number of objects in your database, how much static data you added and how many occasional migrations you have. Unfortunately, it's not totally uncommon to have commits taking minutes as there is quite a lot of work happening under the covers.
