Hi there. I'm trying to install SQL Source Control 5.7 in SSMS 2017 (which does not have it installed), but I already have 5.7 installed in SSMS 2016. When I run in the installer from the link in a previous post, it says it's "Already installed".
Thanks
Thanks

This is intended behaviour. To get into a new version of SSMS you will need to uninstall and install again. Or you can download a later version (we have several frequent releases since 5.7) and update to that.Peter Gerrard

You can use the the Check for Update feature: https://documentation.red-gate.com/soc6/installing-licensing-and-updating/update/checking-for-updates
If you want to upgrade to the very latest version you should enable Frequent updates:
