    Ah yes, this fits. We had to use a different guid, as otherwise we would have overwritten the existing extension, thereby meaning people would not have been able to install the existing release in previous versions of Visual Studio. I'll make that clear in the announcement. Sorry for the hassle.

    I've already updated it manually. It was the latest release build before 9.2

    Now I have Reflector Visual Studio Extension 9.2 installed, but it doesn't appear in VS2017. Any ideas what went wrong?

    I had to uninstall it and then reinstall from the VS gallery, this helped.
