Generate a summary
I am looking for a way to generate a multi-server grid-like summary (preferably Excel) that would include things like server version, instances, default collations, databases, db sizes, db locations, db collations, etc (basically metadata about all the databases). Can SQL Doc do this? I couldn't see any obvious way.

Although SQL Doc will document all the information that you're interested in, it can't summarise everything in a grid in the way that you want. Additionally, SQL Doc only supports one server per project so you'd have to run it once for each server.
