Monitoring Errors During Maintenance Window

Despite maintenance window set we are still seeing errors logged in SQLMon.

Is this:
- a common bug?
- something that has been raised previously? (couldn't see other posts)
- an issue addressed in 5.0.11?

    Thanks for posting on the Redgate forums.

    There are a couple of factors at play in this scenario. Firstly the behaviour of maintenance windows has changed, the documentation below now describes them

    During the maintenance window time period, no performance-related or custom alerts are raised or queued and alerting only resumes for these alerts once the specified maintenance window duration has ended. Monitoring continues as normal, so you can still check the health of your servers using the Overview pages and examine performance data using the Analysis page.

    This means SQL based alerts will still be raised during the maintenance window.

    If you review the Forum post below there is a script you can run to add alert types to be excluded from the maintenance window.
