Combo Boxes Disabled

For some reason on some servers the combo boxes that you use to search the database are disabled. Any ideas? (See Screenshot Below)

    Thanks for posting and sorry you are having this issue!

    I have followed up with you via email but here is a copypaste of what I emailed:

    How do you log into SSMS- what credentials do you use?
    It looks like you use a socket to connect (IP:Port), can you use a server name to connect and does that make a difference?
    Is there an additional connection string that you use to connect?

    What roles/permissions do you have on this server?
    It requires View Definition permissions and view server state (among others).

    Hi,
    It looks as if this problem is permissions related. We use several different environments here, local, development, staging and production. The product works fine using my local and development servers, but staging and production is where the problem lies.

    My concern was that other individuals using SQLSearch had no issues whatsoever in any environment. Makes me jealous!

    Not sure if there is anything you guys can do.

    Any ideas, let me know.
