Red gate back up jobs are not running properly.

edited April 19, 2015 10:04PM in SQL Backup Previous Versions
Hi
We are using red gate fro different types of backups. The job status is showing as running continuously which should be like that. And it is not creating files also. Our job will take the backup for many dbs.But we it is creating a file for only one db and the size is only 1KB.

We observed the below error:
BackupVirtualDeviceFile::RequestDurableMedia: Flush failure on backup device 'SQLBACKUP_******'. Operating system error 995(The I/O operation has been aborted because of either a thread exit or an application request.).
When we tried to take a single db backup by using REDGATE we got below error.

Access violation at address 0000064275 in module SQBcoreservice.exe. write of address 00098475
sql backup exit code:500

Please help us to solve this problem.

When SQL Backup encounters a critical error, it generates a stack trace of events leading up to the error. This stack trace is then stored in a file named SQBCoreService_<instance name>_bugreport.txt, and is located in 'C:Documents and SettingsAll UsersApplication DataRed GateSQL BackupLog' on Windows 2003 and older, and 'C:ProgramDataRed GateSQL BackupLog' on Windows Vista and newer.

Could you please check that file was created on your server, and if it does, please send the file to peter.yeoh@red-gate.com.
