    Hi Ankiet127,
Thank you for your forum post.

You have posted in the SQL Clone forum.  However your problem appears to be regarding a different product called Redgate Clone.  Sadly there is not currently a Forum page for Redgate Clone.

SQL Clone and Redgate Clone are two totally different products using vastly different technologies.

SQL Clone is for Microsoft SQL Server only and requires use of the Windows Operating System.

Redgate Clone is Linux based requiring an Ubuntu Server and the creation of a kubernetes cluster.  Redgate Clone supports  Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, Postgres and MySQL database management systems.

We need to get a support ticket created for you.  Can you please either:
Email support@red-gate.com with details of your error as described in your post.
    Or
Submit a support request via the Redgate Web Support portal and click the Red "Submit a request" button.

Either method will create a Support Ticket in our ticket / call logging system and the support request can then be directed to the appropriate  team at Redgate that can help you.

    Many Thanks
    Eddie

If you're encountering an error while downloading the Redgate Clone client component, ensure that your internet connection is stable. You may also want to check if your antivirus or firewall is blocking the download. If the issue persists, try downloading from a different browser or clear your cache. Encountered an error while attempting to download the Redgate Clone Client component. The issue may stem from network connectivity, insufficient permissions, or a problem with the installation package. Ensure that your internet connection is stable, run the installer with administrator rights, and verify that no firewall or antivirus software is blocking the download process. https://vancedyoutube.org/

It seems like you're encountering an issue with downloading the Redgate clone client component, and even though there's no firewall enabled, you're still unable to establish a connection.

Here are a few things you can try to troubleshoot the issue:

    1. Check Network Connectivity: Ensure that your host machine has stable internet access and is not experiencing any network interruptions.
    2. Proxy Settings: If you're using a proxy server, it could be blocking the connection. Ensure your proxy settings are correctly configured or try disabling the proxy to test the connection.
    3. DNS Issues: There might be DNS resolution problems that are preventing the connection. You could try switching to a different DNS server (such as Google's DNS: 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4) to see if that resolves the issue.
    4. Server Availability: Make sure that the Redgate server or repository you're trying to connect to is up and running. It's possible that the server could be down temporarily or undergoing maintenance.
    5. Download Permissions: Check if there are any permission restrictions on the host machine preventing the download. Running the command with elevated privileges (as an administrator or root) may help.
    6. Firewall on a Network Level: While there may not be a firewall enabled on the host itself, check if there are any firewalls on your router, network, or corporate environment that might be blocking the connection.
    7. Logs: Check any error logs or output messages that might provide more specific details on whats failing during the connection attempt.

If the problem persists after trying the above steps, consider reaching out to Redgate support for further assistance with this specific issue.

Let me know if this helps!
