Active Directory Interactive now gone and MFA doesn't work

I see that in the latest version of Redgate that Active Directory Interactive has been replaced by Active Directory universal with MFA authentication. However, when I try to use this, I get an error "Invalid value for key 'authentication'." My Redgate is completely unusable at the moment and I cannot downgrade because 13.x doesn't have Interactive and I cannot go back to 14.4 as that isn't an option. What am I missing to get back to connecting to my databases? Do I need to change the Application ID that I was using previously with Interactive? Why is there no documentation about this breaking change in the release notes?

In the meantime I've had another customer confirm these versions work as a workaround, for now, please find them in the link attached: https://files.red-gate.com/link/DrJT9kco59IuFIRmEP5Jju

There has been a release to the frequent update channels for SQL Compare & SQL Data Compare to resolve the MFA issue (14.6.3.19802)
If you go to Help > Configure frequent updates > Tick the box to enable
