Isolation level in Redgate SQL Monitor

Is there some way to change the isolation level for SQL Monitor alerts? I experienced a deadlock where one of SQL Monitors alerts were blocked by one of my maintenance plans when accessing msdb..backupset.

Does SQL monitor really need shared locks on objects?

Just to let you know that this isn't currently possibly but that I've also alerted the Dev team to your post so that it can be considered.
