Is there some way to change the isolation level for SQL Monitor alerts? I experienced a deadlock where one of SQL Monitors alerts were blocked by one of my maintenance plans when accessing msdb..backupset.
Does SQL monitor really need shared locks on objects?

Thanks for your post.
Just to let you know that this isn't currently possibly but that I've also alerted the Dev team to your post so that it can be considered.
Kind regards

No problem at all!
I've just heard back though and I think it's better if you can submit a feature request on our SQL Monitor Uservoice page in the link below if that's okay?
