Setup Clone

I get the following error: Failed to open http://LUIS-HP:14145/
Windows domainusername: LUIS-HPLuis

What I'm missing?

    Hi Luis,

    Thanks for you post - Just to make sure we're talking about the same issue, is this error just after SQL Clone was installed?

    After installing SQL Clone the installer should try to open a new web browser session pointing to the newly installed web server, it sounds like this might have failed for some reason.

    The web server should be on your machine on port 14145, could you try opening another browser window and try navigating to http://localhost:14145?

    Hi Aaron,

    No. The error is during SQL Server Clone setup. After filled: server name, windows domainuser, password and database I get the problem.

    OS: windows 10
    SQL : SQL Server 2008R2 Standard Edition SP3.

    Hi Luis,

    Could you check whether the "SQL Clone Server" service is running on that machine, and whether there are any logs in %localappdata%Red GateLogsSQL Clone for the user who you entered during setup, or any entries in the Application event log?

    Could you also give us a screenshot of where the error you've mentioned occurs?

    Hi Chris,

    1) Service is running.

    2) when I try to paste sql clone log ans submit de post, I get this error:
    "Your post has triggered spam detection. If this is incorrect, please contact support@red-gate.com."

    3) Like I said before the error is during Conifugre Sql Clone Server.
    After filling all informatios (instance, windows domaind, etc) and press "next" I get "Failed to open........."

    Hi Luis,

    It looks like the service appears to have started correctly. If you navigate to http://localhost:14145/ in your web browser on the same machine where you installed SQL Clone Server, does anything appear? If you get an authentication prompt, you need to log in using a Windows account.

    Find the problem.

    Somehow the local system account whas created: ..luis. (Sql clone server services)
    After chanced to Local System, and use open localhost:14145 ask me for user and password and now begin to work.
    Is unusual because I have all Red gate products and no one was created with ..luis account.
