This morning I ran sp_who2 on my server, and was alarmed to see 351 SPID values being used by "Red Gate Software - SQL Tools". After some frantic digging, I eventually realized that all of these threads were from the two databases being monitored by DLM Dashboard.

It appears that each of the date/time values in "LastBatch" are schema changes on the tracked database. Each SPID has a status of sleeping, and a Command of "AWAITING COMMAND". Thankfully, both CPUTime and DiskIO are very low, but I'm still alarmed to see so many of these on my server, some almost two weeks old.

What's going on here? Is this because I haven't been to the Dashboard recently to acknowledge changes?

Representative sample from sp_who2:
