I attempted to download the lite version for evaluation to see if it would meet our needs. It appears that the full blown version has been installed (as I can see the log shipping options that I thought were only available with the full version) but have no way to verify this.
1. How can I tell what version I am using in regards to full vs lite?

The trial version provides the same functionality as the professional edition of SQL Backup, for a period of 14 days. The features of the lite version are discussed on the SQL Backup website here: http://www.red-gate.com/products/SQL_Ba ... arison.htm
There isn't a way to download a "lite" version of the trial as such, but you can contact our Sales team at sales@red-gate.com who may be able to provide a demo lite license.
