Thanks for asking. I can't find the specific case, but I do recall an issue where SQL Server needed to convert data internally and this caused a performance hit in the upgrade script. Can you please ensure you've got SQL Bundle 5.3? I believe the problem had been worked around in the newest version. -

The versions i am having problems with is SQL Compare 5.3.0.44 and Data Compare 5.3.0.68.

I have found that using Data Compare 5 with 2 SQL 2005 SP2 databases is slow by a huge amount. When comparing the two databases on SQL Server 2000 it takes 2 minutes on SQL 2005, i am 20 minutes in and it is still stuck on 12%.
Does anyone have any ideas?
