ANTS Load Licensing Exception

Hi,

We are getting ANTS Load Licensing Exception in the edit load option after changing load to 5 Virtual Clients. This we are getting only when we log on to server with one particular credential. For other credential it's working fine.

Message in the exception states "This edition of ANTS Load only allows you to run tests with upto 0 virtual clients. If you want to upgrade to a version of ANTS Load that allows to run tests with potentiallly many thousands of virtual clients then please conatct sales@red-gate.com"

Please update us on why it's happening and what is the mitigation for that.

This looks like a problem with the licensing. ANTS Load licenses are composed of two parts, a serial number and a licence file (.lic file). In order to successfully install the software, you’ll need to copy the .lic file to the ANTS Load program folder and activate it using the Help->about ANTS Load->Licensing button, which will allow you to enter the serial number.



We should have provided you with the .lic file, but if you’ve lost it I can generate a new one for you fairly quickly and email it to you as a replacement. So, to diagnose the licensing problem, first check for a file with a .lic extension in the ANTS Load program folder. If that exists, open ANTS Load and go to Help->About ANTS Load->Licensing and check the status of the licence. You may need to enter your serial number there.



Please let me know what the status of the licence is and whether you need to know what your serial number is and if you need a replacement copy of your licence file.
