Service "SQL Monitor 2 Base Monitor" failed to start

I've had a hard time installing RedGate Monitor due to this error:
I eventually figued out that the cause was that I chose the same TCP port for the Base Monitor and the web server. Even though I installed the product a few times, the duplicate prompt for port didn't stand out, and I just entered 8080 both times. The installer even approved my choice with a green checkmark.
I'm posting this here to help other people who may encounter this issue. Also, perhaps someone from RedGate can read this and improve the installer to detect the duplicate use of a single TCP port.
