i am getting this error after selecting backup file and entering security password. anyone have an idea to get pass this.

Sorry for the delay in replying to this forum post.

Have I assumed correctly that this error is occurring when using the SQL Virtaul Restore Wizard?

What version of the wizard are you using?

What version of SQL Server are you restoring to?

SQL Virtual Restore V2.3 is now available, can you please download using this LINK. Extract out the HyperBac Installers and select the correct installer for your system.

Do you still experience the reported error using this new version of SQL Virtual Restore?
