Installed using built in web server, need to change to IIS

Hi,

I emailed support on this earlier today, but maybe someone in here can help. I installed SQL Monitor using the built in web server, but now I'd like to change it to IIS so we can use SSL. Also the installer says Anonymous Access must be enabled, but is there anyway to lock it down to only certain users through IIS using AD authentication? I don't like the idea of the single password log-in so this'll let us lock it down to only certain users.

Thanks for any advice.

  • Changing to using IIS can be done by pointing your IIS website at the C:\Program Files\Red Gate\SQL Monitor 2\Website folder. The built-in web server can then be disabled in services.msc.

In v2.0 we only support the single password log-in but we're planning big improvements to this in future releases. Whether this will include support for Windows Authentication I can't say and will probably depend on the number of requests for this functionality.

    Thanks for the feedback
