Hi.

I have a Winforms app with every protection turned on, but when I enable the strong signing. The application crashes with the following error ? The application has an existing manifest to mark it as requiring Admin Rights.

Any Ideas ?

System.IO.FileLoadException: Could not load file or assembly 'SampleForm, Version=1.0.0.4, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=null' or one of its dependencies. The located assembly's manifest definition does not match the assembly reference. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x80131040)

WRN: Assembly binding logging is turned OFF.
To enable assembly bind failure logging, set the registry value [HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Fusion!EnableLog] (DWORD) to 1.
Note: There is some performance penalty associated with assembly bind failure logging.
To turn this feature off, remove the registry value [HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Fusion!EnableLog].

found the problem. Simple in the end, it was attempting to load a existing binary serialized file from the non-obfuscated, non-strong signed code.
